WHO WE ARE

In August 1995, Doug and Cara Grisim purchased the 8 school bus business from Raleigh and Mary Ann Tiedemann in Lake City, MN and began their school bus career.

Since then, they have expanded their business several times and currently are the sole provider in the Lake City, Plainview-Elgin-Millville, and Wabasha-Kellogg school districts, employing 70+ people and running 50+ buses.

Doug's father Ken Grisim, was an owner/operator in Northfield MN beginning in 1972 and his Grandfather, Merritt Kline delivered country kids to school along with the milk cans of area farmers in Randolph MN in the early 1930’s and that is how this great family business began.

Their daughter, Emmee Belle, serves as the Routing Coordinator for the company and their son Rusty is a salesman for United Bus Sales in Big Lake, MN. They are a 3rd generation family owned and operated business, and are proud to say our blood is YELLOW!

We continue to provide safe and reliable service to our customers and we pride ourselves in employing hometown people who have the same passion as we do. With Safety at the forefront of everything we do, working hard everyday is like second nature.
